Food Story
Ponzu is a citrus-based sauce commonly used in Japanese cuisine. Although the colour is similar to regular soya sauce, it is sourer in nature due to the citrus juice added in and hence the writing and the pronunciation of the word is often referred to vinegar. Our Yuzu Ponzu recipe balances acidity and sweetness with umami notes and is a very versatile condiment, equally adaptable for a lot of white fish sashimi, grilled or tataki items as well as one pot dishes such as shabu-shabu.
